At PyCon JP 2026, you can continue the conversation beyond the session. “Ask the Speaker” gives you a chance to talk directly with speakers and explore their topics in more depth. There are two formats.
Quick Chat
Talk with the speaker just after their session, during the break (about 15 minutes). The conversation takes place next to the stage. Staff will guide you and manage the time, so the speaker can return for the next session.

- How to join: No advance registration is required. Please follow the staff’s guidance.
- Languages: Japanese or English, depending on the speaker
Round Table
During lunch and the afternoon coffee break, speakers gather at a dedicated table for each room and talk freely with attendees. Use this opportunity for deeper discussions, follow-up conversations, and interaction with other speakers.
- Location: Dedicated table for each room
- Time: Lunch and afternoon coffee breaks
- How to join: No advance registration is required. Join whenever it fits your schedule.
- Participation: Optional
- Languages: Japanese or English, depending on the speaker
Both formats are optional, and you do not need to attend a Round Table. Come and talk with any speaker you are interested in.
