Abstract
You may have heard the saying that an afternoon in the lab saves twenty minutes in the library. But in the world of Python mono-repos, teams can spend years trapped in their own "labs", building complex, fragile, custom infrastructure, when the answers they need are already to be found in the "libraries" of modern tooling.
In this talk, we’ll move beyond the custom-built lab by exploring uv workspaces. We will walk through a real-world example to show how you can leverage modern tooling to build, test, and deploy containerized Python services.
